Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the College Campus for the Lost World
This is the mission statement of Campus Outreach: from Atlanta, GA to Johannesburg, SA. This summer we hope to continue to carry this out - only in a cross cultural context. According to the "Shackled Continent," by Robert Guest, South Africa is the hope of the entire continent. As the prime education center, students come from all over Africa with hopes of returning to their families and homes to create a better life. If students can be introduced to Christ and transformed by His gospel during their time in college, they will take more than "a better life" back to their homes. They will take the only real hope that this life has to offer - the hope of Christ. We are excited to join with Campus Outreach Johannesburg to take the only true hope to the hope of the continent. This has the potential to effect the whole world, and we want to be a part of that.
